Friends and family, Jai Henson is a special person in our lives. We met Jai and his family in August of 2017.  At the time when we met him, Jai was having treatment for a brain tumor (post operative). He was taking classes at Hillsborough Community College and continued treatment while attending school.

Since then, the journey to be cancer free has been challenging as one treatment ended and another one started. There have been many ups and downs to navigate. Then about 3 weeks ago, Jai had a seizure. He continued to worsen and needed to be hospitalized a week ago. Since then, he was transferred to St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Tampa.

Yesterday Jai had brain surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible. The neurosurgeon who performed the operation said the surgery went well, better than he had imagined!

This is now the beginning of a new chapter as Jai recovers from the surgery and continues treatment to beat cancer! As you can imagine, it can be overwhelming to face not only the road to recovery, but also the mounting medical expenses. Please join me in helping this wonderful family take care of Jai's medical expenses.
