If you know RaeLynne, you know how special she is. She is funny, caring, creative, and loved by so many people. If you know her mom, Heidi, you know she would move mountains for her children without ever asking for anything in return.
Today, I'm asking because I know they never would.
On November 24, 2025, RaeLynne experienced a mental health crisis and attempted to take her own life. She was hospitalized for two weeks while her family tried to process every parent's worst nightmare.
Over the last several months, Rae has worked incredibly hard. She has built an amazing support team, participated in therapy, connected with advocates, and taken important steps toward healing. Her family has stood beside her every step of the way, pouring every ounce of love, time, and energy into helping her recover.
Sadly, mental health recovery isn't always a straight path.
On Memorial Day 2026, Rae suffered another crisis and was admitted for inpatient psychiatric treatment once again. She remains hospitalized as doctors continue treating her PTSD, unspecified psychosis, and dissociative symptoms.
Out of respect for Rae's privacy, her family is not sharing the details of her trauma or the events that led to her diagnoses. What I can tell you is that this family has been fighting tirelessly for their daughter, and they continue to do so every single day.
The emotional toll of watching your child struggle is something no parent should have to endure. On top of that comes the financial burden of travel, time away from work, ongoing treatment needs, and the many unexpected expenses that come with long-term mental health care.
I'm hoping our community can rally around them the same way they have rallied around others.
Funds raised will help support:
• Travel expenses related to Rae's treatment and hospitalization
• Lost wages from time spent caring for and advocating for her
• Continued mental health treatment and recovery services
• Transition and support needs when Rae returns home
• Other expenses directly related to her care and well-being
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Every share, prayer, message, and act of kindness helps remind this family that they are not walking this road alone.
Most importantly, please keep RaeLynne in your thoughts. She is still here. She is still fighting. And she deserves every opportunity to continue her journey toward healing.
Thank you for helping support this incredible family during one of the hardest chapters of their lives.
With love and gratitude,
A Family Friend
