My furbaby Piper has been very sick since September 11, 2021. She'll be 2 in November. We took her into the vet the following Monday. She's had a fever ranging from 104° to 105.8° since then.
We've been to the vet now 6 times and will be over $3000 with another bill coming today cause she's back in the hospital.
She's got a fever they can't explain and she doesn't want to eat (cause of said fever) and very dehydrated. She's very lethargic and snuggly (wants all the love, and gets all the love).
We can't afford any more vet visits but the other choices are not acceptable to me..... I can't just let her die.
I'm heartbroken and devastated. She's got my heart ❤. I never knew I could be so bonded to dog like I am with her. She sleeps with me, she cuddles me, she looks for me in house just to find me and wag her tail.
All her blood work and x-rays come back normal or negative. They say it's a fever with unknown origin.
They want to have her admitted to a emergency specialist vet hospital but just to see her is between $550 and $675 without any treatments.
I'm trying everything I can think of to save my little girl and I don't know where else to turn but to people I don't know to help me save her.
I've attached the vet bills I have paid so far (won't get today's bill until later when I go get her, today's estimated is $550 to $750).
Please help me save my baby girl!
Her wonderful vet is Foxbank Veterinary Hospital and will be accepting donations for Piper
