Support Piper's fight against Leukemia
Donation protected
On Friday, April 1st, after a few weeks of what doctors initially identified as “growing pains”, Piper was admitted to the ER in Bellingham. The doctors began doing blood tests and transported Piper and her mom, Melissa by ambulance to Seattle Children’s Hospital on Saturday April 2nd. Later that day, they got the official word that Piper was diagnosed with leukemia and she has remained there getting treatment since.
In the last week, Piper has undergone multiple X-rays, 3 blood transfusions, a bone marrow biopsy, spinal tap, had a port installed, and she official began her 29 day treatment of chemotherapy on Tuesday, April 5th.
The whole family has been through so many emotions, and will continue to be on a roller coaster… But they are so strong! Piper is already a hospital favorite with her nursing staff, and we know she’s going to conquer this with flying colors.
Not only are the Goff family coming to terms with Piper’s very recent and unexpected diagnosis of B Cell Leukemia, but also their new reality of Piper’s treatments in Seattle that she will continue with for the next 6-8 months and be living near Seattle Children’s Hospital at the Ronald McDonald housing nearby.
We ask your help to support Piper and her family as they navigate this transition. We know that so many people love Piper and want to help her and her family with everything they are going to go through. We thank you all for any Help/Donations/Prayer for them during this time. ❤️
