Helping Peter Breathe Easy - Hospital Bills

Hi hi everyone,

I'm reaching out to you today to share the story of my beloved cat, Peter. If you know me you know; he is the love of my life, my constant companion, and a cherished member of our family. Peter has been by my side since he was a tiny kitten, born in a bush, adopted out of a van, and together we have shared countless adventures across three states, six cities, and even an unforgettable airplane ride. Peter is not alone in this journey. He is a loving big brother to Ainu, who misses him dearly. They have always been inseparable since I first brought Ainu home.

Recently, Peter's health took a sudden turn for the worse. He began experiencing difficulty breathing, he stopped using the bathroom, and lost all appetite, even for his favorite foods. If you've ever met Peter, you've probably never seen him refuse his favorite wet food. These symptoms developed and worsened within a day, and we immediately took him in to receive medical care. We received the news that he has developed kitty asthma, and is suffering from a severe attack. This condition has left him struggling for breath. He is currently still undergoing oxygen therapy at the clinic.

To ensure Peter receives the best possible care, he is currently at the vet hospital under close observation. The medical team is providing him with the necessary treatments and medications, but the expenses have quickly piled up. So far, his veterinary bills total $3350.00, and we are aware of more costs yet to come.

While money may come and go, the bond I share with Peter is priceless, and I am grateful already to be able to bring him to a vet. I am humbled by the circumstance of needing to ask for financial assistance, but I am sincerely grateful for any and all forms of support extended to us. Money has been tight for me these past few months, and, while I will always sacrifice for his health, I do want to be honest that it does go beyond what I really can provide.

That is why I am humbly reaching out to all of you today. I kindly ask for your support and generosity in helping us raise funds to cover Peter's ongoing vet bills, including his prescriptions and any unforeseen expenses that may arise. Every little bit counts and your contribution will directly impact Peter's well-being.
