On May 31st, Eric Pennington was on his way to work and was riding his motorcycle on HWY 410 in Bonney Lake, when a car took an illegal u-turn in front of him, cutting him off, and causing him to hit the car full speed. He was rushed to Tacoma General with major life-threatening injuries.  Eric has been in the ICU since the accident.

His injuries include: eye socket fractures, a major face laceration, a skull fracture, shoulder blade fractures, his right hand has 3 surgical pins, and his left hand has two broken fingers and a major laceration. His right arm is shattered and now has a steel plate in it, and his collarbone is fractured.

Eric is an Information Specialist at South Sound 911 and he will be out of work for at LEAST 6 weeks, healing and having surgeries. Eric and his wife Caely have two beautiful children, Tristan-3 and Amelia-11 months.
