Peg Todloski is one of those rare friends whose humor can leave you doubled over with laughter, and whose loyalty can make you feel like the most important person in the room. For years, she has been that friend to so many of us. Right now, she needs our help.
Earlier this year, Peg was diagnosed with hypersensitivity pneumonitis, a serious autoimmune lung disease. She's been in and out of the hospital, dependent on supplemental oxygen, and managing a relentless schedule of doctor's visits. On her worst days, she can't move around her own home for long without her blood oxygen dropping to dangerous levels.
As a result of Peg’s illness, she has been on short-term disability for more than two months. The emotional toll on Peg and her husband is real, and the financial pressure continues to mount.
Many environmental factors may be triggering Peg’s immune system. To address all possible causes, there are several steps Peg and Darrin will have to take to make their home as safe as possible. These include deep cleaning of their entire house, replacement of many household items, and crawl space sealing.
Everything raised here goes directly toward two things: Peg's medical bills and the cost of ensuring she can heal in a safe environment.
Peg has shown up for a lot of people over the years. If you're in a position to help— even a little — please consider contributing.
Thank you,
