Helping Pay for Medical Bills and Expenses

2025 UPDATE:

Hi everyone! I know it has been a while but wanted to let everyone know that my dear neighbors, Wally and Marilyn are currently having a hard time paying their medical and regular bills and buying necessities. Wally continues to have holistic and regular treatments for various health conditions, not just leukemia. Wally’s condition is worsening. His leukemia, which he has been battling for a number of years, is now causing heart problems and skin issues. This new diagnosis, in addition to his leukemia, is requiring a lot more visits to the doctors. I think we can all agree that no one should have to decide whether to buy food or pay for living/medical expenses. I know how generous this community always is! 2019: Family and friends, I am reaching out and asking for your support and generosity for my dear next door neighbor who unfortunately has been recently diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) . Wally is an incredible person who is now facing a very challenging time both physically and financially. He is an extremely health-conscious individual who takes a Holistic and all-natural approach to his lifestyle. He and his wife, Marilyn, currently operate a small business from their home focused on natural and organic supplements among other things. Likewise, Wally is choosing to go the Holistic route and opting to forgo traditional chemotherapy as he battles his cancer. Unfortunately, the medical expenses he is facing is beyond what his current insurance will cover and the expenses are going to mount up beyond what they can afford. I feel compelled to help them as they have become family to us over the years and I know how generous and caring our community is and how we all come together in others’ times of needs and that is why I am reaching out to all of you to help Wally in this challenging time in any way you are able. Wally and Marilyn are the type of people who ALWAYS go out of their way to help others before themselves and are not used to asking others for help.
