Helping Parker Johnson

Tragedy hit my best friend Parker Johnson last night. At around 1 AM his backyard caught on fire, while he and his roommate were asleep. Their televisions melted, their clothes are full of soot and the scent of fire, and their kitchen ceiling (seen in the cover) had completely burned through.

However, as devastating as the fire was to their belongings, Parker only escaped with his Saint Bernard Yama and his roommate Cierra. Five cats and a ferret were left behind, and unfortunately, did not stand a chance against the smoke. Now we have to pay over $810 for pet cremation which was borrowed from a friend, and Parker is homeless, he lost every article of clothing he had, he lost his electronics, and he lost his pet family.

I'm hoping to raise enough money for Parker to restore his wardrobe, take care of his surviving pet, find a place to live, and start the process of replacing all of his belongings he lost in the fire.

If you can only spare $3 to $5, that would mean the world to Parker, his family, his friends, myself, and the pets who have moved to the other side. Every dollar is a dollar to help someone who lost everything.
In memory of all the animals who were lost, I am making a tribute to each. Starting from oldest to youngest, as Kairi, the oldest, was the best friend Parker always needed. This is for Parker, mostlt
Kairi. Kairi was an asshole and the queen of the peasants she shared her space with. She wouldn't tolerate anyone being in her space and was a warrior in life. After surviving a dog attack which led to multiple botched surgeries, Kairi had a permanent waddle through the rest of her days. She waddled through the crowds and exerted her tyranny as the iconic role model she was destined to be. As messy as it sounds, Kairi was the sweetest angel on the planet. She nursed all of the kittens she had, and then some when our other cat refused to nurse her own. Kairi would mew for rubs and greet you at the door to say, "welcome to my domain, pet me now." She loved being held, and would walk all on your shoulders to see what you were doing. Nothing in her life was as important to her as her human, Parker. They were best friends, and even when the time to say goodbye came, she was his baby girl. She had the best life she could have possibly had.  You rock that taco suit in heaven, Kai.

RIP Kai Kai
Yuki. You precious baby. You out of everyone didn't deserve what happened. You never hurt anyone, you always kept to yourself. You loved nothing more than to be with all of us cuddled against our necks. You were also fat, but that was such a positive thing about you. You would run and run and run and never seem to lose a single pound. Yuki was a fitting name, as it means "snow." You were rescued from a snowstorm in Minot as a kitten, alone and freezing, and even though Parker thought he was rescuing you, in the end you rescued all of us. You were a queen worthy of the snowstorm as you made everything in life pure as snow. We will miss you, dearly Yuk-Yuk.

RIP Yuki

Sebastian. I lied, you were the purest one. You were so pure full of cute that your loss isn't a loss for your family, but the world. You were named after a butler... worst name ever for the laziest cat known to man. You and Yama (the surviving pet) were so close in life. Yama wanted me to let you know he misses his cuddle buddy. You would always snuggle with people sitting down. I mean ALWAYS. All you ever wanted in life was to sit, relax, and steal Parker's Taco Bell when he wasn't looking. Did you even have vocal cords? I never heard you meow once, and even though Parker swears you have, I never witnessed the tree fall in the woods. Just thinking of all of you brings tears to my eyes, and to know that such sweet babies like you had to go the way you did is the most heartbreaking thing in the world. You were so pure that if heaven is real you were the first through the gate.
RIP SEBAS, enjoy your stolen tacos in heaven.
Ciel. You are the reason "scaredy cat" is even a saying. You hid, and hid, and hid. I never really got to bond with you as much as the others because of your knack for vanishing. Sometimes I wondered if you walked out the door and we just didn't notice for months. Now, I know, you were just training to be a ninja. I always saw that assassin gleam in your eye, and yes I'm calling you out in your tribute. You gained so much self-confidence as you got older and dug out of your shell sooooo much. It is fitting to say you are the cat version of teenage angst. Now you are free from your shell forever, and you don't have to hide from anyone anymore; and, no, they aren't hiring for assassins in heaven so you can get off right now.

RIP Ciel ("scaredy cat")
Neko. You are... such an attention seeker. I would walk in the door and you would just collapse over and meow for love. Either you really loved belly rubs or were a hypochondriac; honestly don't know if there is a difference for you. You were more snuggly than Sebas was, and that's saying something for a cat that melted into her surfaces and never left a lap in her entire existence. I really wish I had more time to watch you collapse on the floor, but you have to make it through the gates of heaven before you ask for attention, you know?

RIP Nek-Nek
Mocha. You're an adorable ferret, yanno? I met you only a few times and even for such a short time I keep picturing your adorable face popping up in your cage begging to be held. You were the rodent version of a weiner dog. I am so sad that your short life ended the way it did... you were the youngest of all the pets. I may not be able to do your tribute justice, but I want you to know I am rooting for you and can hear your cute and weird noise as you run right up those stairs to the golden gates. You keep playing and rolling for me, okay? No more cages for you either. You are free to run forever.

RIP Mocha.
