Helping Paradise

On 11/8/18 Thursday morning, the sleepy town of Paradise, California came under attack by a raging beast called "camp fire". The fire started at 6:30 a.m. Thursday in a granite canyon with steep slopes. By 10 a.m., it had ballooned to 5,000 acres, pushed by 50-mph gusts from the northeast at a rate of about 80 football fields a minute! Naturally evacuations were given but no one had time to think, only pack briefly and escape for their lives.  My family, no exception.  However, my uncle and aunt (Dante and Rana) decided to stay due to previous successful fights with fire.  This time, the fire won.  But thankfully, as of noon on 11/10/18 all my family (my mother Paula, my stepfather Scott and brother Greg and sister Amanda and her son Ezra, my grandmother Lee, uncle Mitch, aunt Rana and uncle Dante and Scott's family) are alive and safe.

However, they need help in a tremendous way! They lost everything as did most everyone in the town.  This fund will help basically help three families 1. my mom and Scott, 2. Mitch, 3. Dante and Rana get them back on their feet, fresh clothes to wear and assist them with love and encouragement needed to strike a gameplan whether to rebuild there or somewhere else completely.

My name is Steve Vaneman and I am the son of Paula Conner, nephew to Dante & Rana Musarra, nephew to Mitchell Musarra, stepson to Scott Conner, brother to Gregory Conner and grandson to Lila Lee Russel and I truly appreciate you helping out my family. As soon as gofundme releases the hold to this campaign, funds will go directly to the seven members or three households in my family, divided according to the number of people in the household, i.e. Mitch will get a 7th of the donated funds.

For full transparency, I will withdraw funds directly and will be transferring the donations to said family members. In no way will I be receiving any of your contributions for personal use. 100% of funds will go to my affected family mentioned above.
