Hello,
My name is Joesph Masarik. Many that know me know I am a very giving man. Today I ask you to help me, save my family dogs life.
About a week ago my family dog, Ozzy, was attacked by a German Shepherd. The circumstances of the attack are unfortunate and heartbreaking.
A friend of a friend was becoming homeless in a matter of days. As if those circumstances weren't difficult enough, he was becoming homeless with a German Shepherd. I was asked if I could take the Shepherd in, to give him a home. I said yes without hesitation.
She was in the house for about a week and a half until the attack happened. The Shepard attacked Ozzy causing so many injuries to his small body. Ozzy is a Brussels Griffon, weighing only 23 pounds, compared to the Shepherd weighing around 75 pounds. He didn't stand a chance.
Ozzy was rushed to East End Veterinary Center on Friday May 31st. He has been there since. They gave him a 50/50 chance of living. He has had multiple surgeries to save his life. The Shepherd punctured his neck multiple times which needed stitches. Tore open his back which required stitches. Tore open his back leg which required stitches. The Shepherd punctured his liver and ripped open his intestines. The vets needed to place multiple drains in Ozzy after all the surgeries to drain the fluid and the blood.
Ozzy's will to live and fight is tremendous! He is fighting each day to live and come back home. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
The vet bill total right now is at $15, 983.00. I am asking if you can find it in your heart, to make any donation, it would be greatly appreciated.
Ozzy thanks you and so do I.
