Helping out The Vance Family

Donation protected

As many of you know, Travis Vance has been fighting a severe Diabetic foot infection for over a year.  He has been in and out of the hospital trying to get better. He was in a medical boot for so long and was happy when the Dr finally said everything looked good and he could get out of the medical boot. Everything was finally going good for once. Unfortunately on July 30th he woke up not feeling good and was rushed to the Emergency Room. That afternoon both him and my sister's life would take a turn for the worse. The Dr unfortunately was not able to treat his foot with antibiotics or another surgery. They received the devastating news that his foot would need to be amputated. Family and friends were told the news,  and everyone rallied around for the Vance Family. Thankfully, Travis's surgery went well. Now the hard part, recovering and lots of physical therapy. Travis will be out of work for a while and as the head of household this is going to be very hard on the family. This fundraiser is something the Vance family would never set up, but unfortunately here we are. Travis has done so much for the community and surrounding areas. He has given up so much of his time with Grid kids and helping coach basketball even with his medical issues and diabetic health. He's never refused to help anyone, his family has taken in numerous less fortunate kids and even helped one to graduate. Now that's something to be proud of! His willingness to go above and beyond for so many is what kept him going. Travis is a friendly happy guy that has influenced so many people and all have become his long time friends. He loves helping people even when his health wasn't the best. He is an awesome father, brother in law, son, husband and friend. I'm asking today if anyone could help while he's recovering,  we would gratefully appreciate everything. This is going to be a long recovery and if you know Travis, he's a very tough man that has bounced back every time. We are hoping and praying this will be the same. This page is being set up to help the family while he's not working with medical bills and every day living expenses. We are hoping once he's healed to save up for his prosthetic foot. Please let's rally together and help him out so he can recover fully without the stress of money.
