Helping out the Sams fam

Hi everyone, my name is Brie. I am starting this in hopes to raise some money for Nate and Kaitlyn.

A little backstory- Myla was born on December 26, 2021. They didn’t know until after her birth that she had Down syndrome. With Down syndrome comes a ton of other issues. Myla has Tetralogy of Fallot and has to have open heart surgery within the next 2-3 weeks if not sooner. They will be patching two very large holes, cutting down muscle from beneath the pulmonary valve and either replacing the valve completely, or putting a shunt in to last her until her teens (both require a second surgery in her teens.) For whatever reason, their insurance is giving them issues about paying some of the larger bills, so they currently have the stress of those.

Up until this point, Myla has had several out of town appointments to get prepared for her surgery. Because of that, Nate has been taking off work so he can attend the appointments, which means smaller paychecks. Once Myla has her surgery, they will be in the hospital for 1-2 weeks and he will be out of work. Along with that, Nate will be traveling back and forth to Parkersburg to attend to their other 6 children.

I am hoping that we can raise enough money for them to go towards those unpaid bills, gas, food, and whatever else they may need while they are gone. Thank you all SO much for all your help and prayers during this trying time for them. #Mylafierce
