Helping out the Harris family
The Harris family are a much-loved part of the mountain community.
Sadly, on Thursday, their house was completely destroyed, due to several fallen trees, following the incredible winds, which swept the Dandenongs and Melbourne.
Thankfully, none of the Harris family was seriously injured, physically, but the house will have to be completely rebuilt.
The Harris’ are an integral part of the club: Campbell and Mitch are current players.
Given it’s already a testing period for all, this couldn’t have happened at a worse time.
As a club and community, we would love to assist the Harris’ in any way. But given the covid-19 restrictions, there are some challenges.
However, a financial contribution, if you are in a position to, would be greatly appreciated and would no doubt assist the Harris’ at this time. (Even if it helps Campbell purchase some new cricket equipment, given his was destroyed in the accident)
