Terra Groh started on a journey to donate her kidney to her brother in law Kyle over a year ago. She was approved to be a kidney donor, but she was not an exact match for him so they entered into what is called a "paired exchange"-- Terra gives her kidney to someone, Kyle gets one. The awesome thing about this is that this can be a long chain of donors and recipients- there can be many lives saved and many happy families.

Although Terra and her wife Sarah have prepared for the upcoming transplant, it would be nice to have a little extra security for them during this time, as they both work for themselves and do not have the luxury of paid time off or a leave of abscence from work. 

Terra will be having her donor surgery at the University of Minnesota (the best place to have it!) on Tuesday January 10th. If you have anything extra to spare- whether it be a few dollars or even a positive thought or prayer, whatever! This lovely, selfless woman would never ask for help herself- so that is why her friends have set up this fund.
