In early August of 2021, Blake was seen for swelling in his neck that was not going down. On August 25th, he was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and began immediate treatments. The pathology reports further identified and rediagnosed his cancer as 90% stage four pancreatic cancer as the root source spreading throughout his body.

 

Blake is traveling back and forth from Dallas to Houston for treatment by a specialist for pancreatic cancer at MD Anderson. There are travel costs, loss of spousal income, and the many tests, trials, and medicines not covered by insurance. They need any donations given as his family fights this battle.

 

Blake is a proud veteran, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all he has crossed with.

 

Blake is a seasoned  Regional Maintenance Manager for WFS based in Dallas, TX, yet covering and assisting all of North America.  His name and accomplishments are well known to all in our industry! He has worked and continues to work directly or indirectly in his decades of aviation GSE service previously with TLD before joining the WFS family as a knowledgeable leader. His guidance through complex repairs, projects, and growth is his specialty.
