Helping out John Angelella Local 1

I was just asked by another Plumber to set up a Gofundme campaign to raise money to benefit 55-year old John Angelella, a proud member of Local 1 Plumbers (initiated in 1986).  John suffered a horrific workplace injury on Monday, April 23rd while working for Parkview Plumbing on the West-side of Manhattan. John was installing 4" cast iron pipe while working off of a 12' ladder. Unfortunately he was caused to fall from the ladder.  He struck the ground with such velocity that he suffered a broken left femur bone which required an immediate emergency surgery at St. Luke's Hospital uptown. The surgeon's installed an 18" rod in John's left leg to remedy the injury. John also badly injured his back and neck from this fall. An injury of this magnitude could put you out of work for good. It's highly doubtful that John will ever be able to return to the business that he loved. Please consider a small donation to help out a Plumber that has a really tough road ahead of him. Thank You !!
