Helping out a little Doodle Bug
This is Doodle newest member to my family. We were heading out to lunch when we saw this little guy get hit by a big Jeep!
We rushed him down to the vet to get him looked at. They told us that he's barely a year old, but he's Stable and he's here now at home with us.
Getting him help and fixed up they are asking for quite a bit due to his injury. Doodle's hips were broken in three places and he needs surgery to correct this. His back left leg was also broken in several places, and he has a cast on it now.
The emergency visit cost $2000 with an overnight stay and we have been informed the surgery will cost around $6000 to help fix him so he can walk again. We have been able to pay some of this to start the preliminary, but if we are unable to gather the funds quickly they may not be able to fix Doodle's hips to allow him to walk again. The soonest they say they can see him is Wednesday the 23rd if we can manage to get at least half of the funds needed.
He looked so similar to one of our other dogs named Jynx who I often fondly call Jynx a Doodle that we decided it would be good to call him Doodle so we could have Jynx and Doodle. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated help this cute boy walk again!
