Helping out a family in South Lebanon

Rany's brother and his family, as well as his sister and her family who also fled South Lebanon with the recent escalation, just settled with Rany and his mother.

We raised the crowdfunding goal in order to help them also, in order to pay for the kids tuittion fees, and if there is enough money to get an appartment.

Bonjour. Je suis Rany, je viens du Sud Liban.

Du fait de la situation actuelle et de l’offensive faite par l’entité sioniste sur mon village, j’ai été déplacé à Beyrouth depuis octobre 2023.

Ces derniers mois, j’ai perdu mon travail, mes moyens de subsistance, and je suis obligée de louer un appartement pour garder ma mère de 64 ans à l’abris.

Les derniers mois ont été durs et il a été difficile de demander de l’aide, d’autant plus que toutes les parties utilisent la situation pour répondre à leur propre agenda politique.

Je traverse une période désespérée et je ne veux pas devenir un cas de charité, qui passera d’organisation en organisation, c’est pourquoi j’ai choisi de demander de l’aide directement aux personnes qui voudrait aider, sans en être obligées par un agenda.

Mon loyer, les soins dont ma mère malade a besoin (BPCO, embolie pulmonaire), ainsi que le soutien matériel à mon frère qui a dû faire face à la même situation avec sa famille (épouse et deux enfants), sont des frais que je n’ai plus les moyens d’assurer. Le soutien que je demande par cette cagnotte permettrait de maintenir des circonstances de vie décentes et constituerait un élan me permettant de trouver un vrai travail (emploi salarié ou freelance), en me sortant du mode survie dans lequel la guerre dans la région nous a plongé.

Hello. Im Rany from the south of lebanon.

Due to the current oppression and offensive done from the zionist entity on my hometown i have been displaced to beirut since octobre 2023.

In the past few months I've lost my job my livelihood and I'm obliged to rent a home to keep my 64 year old mother sheltered.

The past few months have been tough and it was hard to ask for help especially that everyone want to use it for their political agendas.

Im a human being going through desperate times and i dont want to become a charity case to be handled from organization to organization, thus im here asking help directly from the people who would care to help without the need to be obliged to follow up on a certain agenda.

My current rented house with the necessities to survive with my sick mother (COPD, pulmonary embolism), alongside the need to support my brother who have recently been facing same issues with his family (wife and 2 kids) are expenses im no longer able to fulfill. Im asking for support that can maintain a decent living circumstances and a small push that will allow me to have a proper work (employment or freelance) without the need to be constantly in survival mode in this war torn region.
