Helping our union brother, Big Lou

Hello brother and sisters of the ILWU-Local 13, Pittsburgh Steeler fans, Wilmeros and ALL those that knew and loved "Big" Lou Mouneu. As you may have heard, Big Lou passed away this past Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from complications brought on by his brief fight with Covid. He is survived by fellow union sister, Jennifer Mouneu (Radovich) and his 2 daughters.

He was quick with a smile, but quicker with a joke and a laugh. He was the living definition of a Gentle Giant. He loved his daughters very much, loved his life and union partner, Jennifer and boy did he love his Pittsburgh Steelers! He will be sadly missed by all that called him friend, which was MANY!

Since many weeks were missed from work due to both Big Lou and Jennifer having Covid, his passing being such an unexpected event and the outpouring of people that have asked what can be done to help Big Lou and Jennifer's family, a few people, including myself, with Jennifers permission, decided to put up a GoFundMe. I pray that you would see it in your heart to help with ANY amount that you can to help with expenses, funeral costs and with their daughters.

I would also ask to share this with any and every one that knew Big Lou.
