I hope this message finds you well.
I would like to put forth a request on behalf of a convert sister in our community who works hard to provide all her family’s needs but had a recent medical problem that puts her off balance.
Our sister got a bill for $6000 from the hospital after an urgent procedure. (She has medical coverage from her job but that was her share of the total bill) Unfortunately, she was above the cutline for financial aid by only few dollars! After negotiation, the hospital agreed to put her on a plan with a monthly payment of $100 for 5 years. This solution was still distressing, as it would put additional strain on a financial situation that is already stretched to about the limits.
I am hoping you will join us in freeing her from that 5 years debt. We are targeting to raise $6,000 in hopes of providing her relief from her medical bill.
