My name is nicola and im a close freind of chloe.

Baby Zander was born on 1st April, six weeks prematurely, with complex health problems. Despite such an early arrival, he fought so hard and spent four weeks in the SBCU at Prince Charles Hospital, where he did amazingly well before finally coming home with his mum and dad, Chloe and Ceiron on 29/04/26

Sadly, this week Zander became unwell and was admitted back into hospital. Doctors have since discovered a serious heart condition, and he now urgently requires major heart surgery.

Over the past few days, Baby Zander, Chloe, and Ceiron have been transferred from Prince Charles Hospital to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, and then on to Bristol Children’s Hospital, where they remain by Zander’s side every single moment. Ceiron is currently off work to be with Zander and support Chloe during this incredibly difficult time. They are currently sleeping on a mattress on the hospital floor so they can stay as close to their baby boy as possible.

Following his recovery, Zander will also require multiple follow-up appointments and ongoing specialist care.

We are raising money to help support the family with the unexpected costs they are now facing, including travel, parking, accommodation, food, and any other expenses while they stay close to Zander throughout his treatment and recovery.
