My name is Rosa Sierra and I've been a teacher for 24 years. I'm the Activities Director at an all boys Title I school located in Wynwood with a 200 student population of low income families and single-parent homes. Many of our students cannot afford their end of the year activities. And this school year I did not meet the fund raising goal to cover all end of year activities and we do not have money in the budget.

As a teacher that loves her students, I'm pleading for help from my lovely friends, family and awesome strangers. We are trying to raise funds for the seniors for their cap and gown, flowers for graduation, and other graduation-related events.   These students have worked really hard and they should be able to have a great graduation.  If you choose not to donate, that's great, but please forward it so we may reach others and garner as much support as possible.
