Dear Sisters and Brothers,
For a reason, a season or a lifetime, people cross our paths and we may not really know which one of these it will be. Johanna Cabrera has been all three for me. We have shared many different arenas together. As many of you already know ~ to know Johanna is to love her. She has been walking her road with love and service to her family, friends and communities for many years now. Her generosity of spirit, bright smile and songs have touched many of us.
I am writing to you today in support of our sister, Johanna. This year, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and has chosen to take a healing path with alternative medicines. Unfortunately, these treatments are not covered by her insurance and are quite expensive. Johanna has a hard-work ethic deep within her fiber. However, at this time she has been advised by her health care practitioners to mainly focus on her healing by slowing down her work schedule and taking excellent care of herself. A big part of her healing is to be at ease and not stress about financial sustainability. The cost of all the therapies, treatments, supplements and medicines are quickly adding up.

THE HEALING PROCESS
The main alternative medicine guidance Johanna is working with is Microbiology. She undergoes periodic Live Cell Analysis as an alternative to biopsy to monitor the status of her cells and the progress of her therapies. Her main medicinal protocol is a combination of Orasal (a plant derived supplement) , alkaline supplements, gut support supplements and a very strict vegan diet consisting of high alkaline, low acidity and no sugar. The medicine protocol cost per month is $725 and the projected length of the treatment is six months. The monitoring visits are $250 per visit every two months for 12 months.

The second alternative healing modality Johanna is working with is Quantum Science. She is guided to use Milimeter Wave Therapy to balance her bodily systems with the Spinor Device. Combined with daily physical activity, she has to monitor herself with the frequency therapies on a daily basis and the projected length of the therapies is 6-12 months. She is also monitoring her exposure to EMF and undergoes Thermo Analysis sessions to check her status and progress. Another alternative medicine modality Johanna is working with is Acupuncture, a key component of traditional Chinese medicine in which thin needles are inserted into the body. In TCM it is believed that Breast Cancer in women derives from a weak and unbalanced liver. One of Johanna’s symptoms for a long time has been pain and discomfort in the liver area and she believes that acupuncture will help her bring her liver back to balance and thus assist in her healing. Her visits to the acupuncturist are $65 per 3-4 times per month.
Lastly, Johanna has started psychotherapy to help support her in this healing process. A therapy session is $100, 3-4 times per month.
