Helping Our HANK- Surgery for our Hound

Hank is our newest family member and is 6 months old.  We have had him for 2 months and we are smitten.  He is a basset hound and recently we found out that Hank's growth plates in his front legs have stopped growing. He will need extensive surgery on both front legs as soon as possible.  He has trouble walking and the condition is painful from what we have been told, but Hank is a trooper and as a puppy still wants to play.  His surgery will cost approximately $2600.  There is a chance that since he is so young he may need to have another surgery later.  This guys means the world to my family- my husband and boys are heartbroken about not only him having surgery, but the fact that their best friend is hurting.  His best buddy Rocky also wonders why he is gone so much to the vet and why sometimes he doesn't play much. We would be grateful for any donation given to this little guy.  He is a one of a kind and has the sweetest little face. To us, he is a family member- not a pet.
