Help Support Sarah’s Heart Surgery Expenses

Hi, my name is Rachel Baay. I am setting this up for my dear friend Sarah Langford to help her cover the cost of retaining a lawyer ($3,500) to challenge a medical bill that her insurance refuses to cover due to a technicality that they did not inform her of until after surgery. On January 18, she underwent a heart ablation procedure. Insurance covered all appointments prior to surgery, as well as the cost of the cardiologist who performed the surgery. However, insurance refused claim on the hospital bill, which amounts to $97,000.

She has spoken to many people many times to no avail. Next step is to hire a lawyer to help her with this.
