Helping our Friend Dario Marquez

Most of you don't know this story, but it's a story worth telling. Our friend and peer Dario Marquez is originally from Venezuela, where he was raised and came to the USA to support his family and provide a better lifestyle for them. His parents stayed behind, and unfortunately now, Venezuela is facing a humanitarian crisis, one which is leaving its residents hungry and in extreme amounts of violence.
Dario's father is in a very fragile state, he has lost a lot of weight, he deals with several illnesses, and Dario has been sending the family whatever he can from his home in Miami, to help support them in this time of need.
At times, Dario sends from $100-300 per paycheck to help. At the same time, Dario still has to support his own household, and does it out of a joyful heart. Dario never complains about anything, continues to do his work proudly and to the best of his ability, and I want us, as a team, to extend our hands to support him and his family in this time of need.
Dario cannot go to Venezuela to see his father as he is risking not being let back into the country. As of Today (6/3/19) Dario's dad is planning to flee Venezuela and go to Colombia, where Dario could potentially go visit him later this year in December.
Dario doesn't know we're doing this, so privacy is key. A few things Dario and his dad need right now:
- Money so that Dario can continue to send bi-weekly funds to his dad.
-Money so that he can possibly afford a lawyer to help his dad get to the USA in some type of political asylum.
-Prayers so that Dario can be re-united with his father once again after many many years.
-My goal is to help raise enough money to help Dario's father thrive and survive in Venezuela, and raise money to buy him a plane ticket to see his Dad in Colombia, if that's what ends up happening.
