Helping Our Dear Friend Deevie With Medical Bills

Hello Friends & Family,

I have had the great honor of spending quite a bit of time with our sweet Deevie recently. She has watched Shelby and stayed over a few nights, which has led us to have some heart to heart conversations. As many of you know, Deevie had a stroke in March 2020. Not only did she battle the beginning of a pandemic, she also did not have insurance at the time. Therefore her access to care was greatly diminished as the hospital and doctor's did little to provide her with the care she needed (since she was not insured). She did not receive home health therapies, her medications were difficult to attain and she was basically left to regain the skills she needed to survive at home without assistance. Fast forward to today and with the help of her family she has been able to keep her home and afford the many doctor's visits she has had to attend. However, I think this opens a great opportunity for us to take some of the weight off of the shoulders of those who have stepped in over the last 15 months. I invite you to lend a monetary hand to this woman who we all love so much! She has helped raise our children (TeTe), she has been there for us when we needed her, and has been a great friend over the years. I greatly appreciate your consideration and I am sending my love and light to you all!
