Helping our communities in need

The coronavirus has taken a heavy toll on thousands of people in the metropolitan New York area. Many residents have not only found themselves impacted by health issues related to the novel coronavirus but have also experienced financial strain due to the loss of their jobs during the coronavirus pandemic. As you read this, many families are choosing between paying for groceries, rent, bills or critical medicine.
James 2: 14-17:
14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
During these times, the Youth Association of the Spanish Speaking ABC Metro NY churches, wants to work together to help as many struggling families as possible. For this reason, we have launched an emergency response team to assist in putting together a food and basic necessity fund for facilities in the regions of Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Long Island and Westchester county.
Though we find ourselves separated physically, we need your help to touch the lives of others in an extraordinary way. Would you consider donating to financially provide our neighbors with basic needs during this unimaginable time? If you’re fortunate enough to have a few dollars to spare and feel moved to contribute, any financial amount would be gratefully appreciated and will go a long way.
Sincerely,
From the Youth Association of ABC Metro NY
