Helping Our Brother Connor

Donation protected
Anyone that has met my brother in law Connor can agree that there isn't anything he wouldn't do for his friends and family. He shines a bright light in the lives of those around him that reflects what it means to be a humble and giving individual.

In the past year, Connor has hit some tough barriers. After being diagnosed with thyroid cancer in January, Connor went through extensive medical procedures consisting of tons of tests and scans, radiation therapy, and surgeries that resulted in the removal of his Thyroid, 15 tumors, and 80 lymph nodes throughout his neck and chest. Connor managed by himself to pay for all of the extensive medical bills. After months of the turmoil that comes with such a destructive affliction, Connor is doing well and seems to be in the clear for now.

Although incredibly fortunate to have overcome his cancer journey, since then Connor has not caught many breaks when it comes to his health and his finances.  In October, Connor was in a car accident when another driver ran a stop sign. This left him with out a car, and a partially torn MCL. To make things worse, poor insurance from the driver left Connor with a hefty bill.

Finally, this past week, Connor caught a bout of food poisoning that left him hospitalized after he fainted. When he fell, he hit his head, cracked his tooth in half and split his lip, resulting in four stitches, and a full extraction of his front tooth. He may need work on many teeth, But first he will have to get an implant put in, which will cost thousands of dollars and take around eight months to complete and monitor.

We all know the saying and probably have first hand experience: when it rains it pours. Well, it is currently flash flooding on our sweet Connor and it is our responsibility to help our friend and brother. He would do the same. He did not want to ask for help but its just been one thing after another this year and the cost will put his life on hold. Let’s all come together and pull him out of this funk so that we can help Connor start off 2022 on the right track!
