In very exceptional circumstances we ask MSF to come together as a whole to help support one of our mums who is in a very difficult situation.

Not only does the mum have cancer and is registered disabled, her husband is recovering from an operation and is unable to work. Add to that, her 4 years old son needs an important operation in November. Their financial situation has become desperate The mum is making laundry detergent from wood ash… it’s got that bad.

This money will get the family groceries and for their medical needs going forwards until they can get back on their feet.

As we said, this is exceptional but we couldn’t let this mum starve. She has supported other mums in the past years participating in the Secret Santa gifts and sending coats to other children whose parents were struggling.
