Donna Kimbrell, a woman of true faith and a devoted servant has been given the unfortunate task of battling cancer of which she has done so with grace and gratitude since being diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in 2012. Growing up in and always being an active member of the church and her community, Donna is no stranger to faith and giving to others; it comes natural to her because it is her way of life. She walks the walk, and her life is a testament to that. Not only is she a devoted Christian, but she is also a public servant. She has spent her 28 year career in law enforcement helping victims of domestic violence and violent crime. Armored with her faith, she has never been afraid to fight the good fight. As stated above, she was originally diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in 2012, in 2019 she was told the cancer was back and had spread throughout her body. Though she has been stable for over a year, her most recent update shows the cancer is progressing. As the true woman of faith that she is, she continues to walk in faith and serve others all the while knowing God would provide in one manner or another and He did. We learned that she has been accepted into a clinical trial for treatment in Houston, TX which has proven to have great success with cancer cases that were given little to no hope; however, it is not covered by insurance and the complete treatment will be out of pocket. Average cost will run 17,000 to over 20,000 a month. God has graced me with the honor and privilege of helping someone who has led by example of what it means to be selfless and giving to others. Today, I ask my family, friends, fellow Christians and anyone else that this post meets, to please consider helping Donna Kimbrell fight this horrible disease with whatever you can afford.
