Help this beautiful, Bush Fire affected, family
The last few months in Australia have been absolutely terrifying and heartbreaking. These fires that continue to sweep across the Nation are destroying more and more homes, leaving so many families displaced with a heavy financial burden.
Sadly, my dear friend Tess Hurst, is amongst those, losing her home this week in Mallacoota.
Whilst Tess is just so grateful to have made it out of Mallacoota safely, she is a single mum of two beautiful children, who will be suffering financially.
Tess was only able to make it out with one bag of clothes and the kids’ pets. She is so rattled at the moment and can’t really comprehend what’s happened and what help she really needs, so this page is simply to create a little bit of assistance with that financial pinch, she will soon be feeling.
The news coverage continues to bring most of us to tears, and I see how many amazing people there are wanting to help, so this is a direct way of having an impact on one small Australian family.
Big or small, every bit counts!
Ironically, Tess and her kids donated clothes and toys (amongst other items), to other families affected by fires in November. It’s so heartbreaking to now watch them lose everything and experience the same.
Funds raised will be deposited directly into Tess Hurts' bank account, to help her get back on her feet.
(For those unable to donate money, feel free to get in touch regarding other items that might be appropriate to donate. Tess' son Liam, is 8 years old and her daughter Chloe, is 6).
