Helping Omar get back on his feet
Donation protected
As some of you may know, Omar had been in ICU since November 4th, 2018. He was in a car accident as a pedestrian, despite of what some may think, he was actually on foot and got hit by a car, not driving the car. Since his accident, he’s had a bunch of complications. From going under cardiac arrest, to needing CPR in order to get revived, to having brain damage, to battling pneumonia, to now having complications in his lungs. We thought this would be an easy recuperation, but it’s already been 2 weeks and the doctors said it will take much longer for him to be back to himself. Omar had just recently started being independent by moving out of our moms apartment and purchasing a new car and now this is all falling on my parents and I would like to help relive any of the added budens they are facing.
On a side note...
Omar always talked about barely having any friends but I have to say that the outpouring support from people who knows him and loves him has been overwhelming. My family and I are eternally grateful to each and every one of you who have shown support though a text, a phone call and the many visits he has received. I thank you! My family appreciates you! And we are so thankful to all of you! It has meant so much to us in this time of need. I’m sure Omar will be just as appreciative if he was awake and able to see it for himself. Thank you, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!
Now some of you have asked how can you help, or if you could do anything for the family and this is how. Omar’s bills are piling up and my parents are trying their best to keep up with it. But they have both been by his side every single day, and things are starting to catch up. So if you want to help, this is how.
