Helping Nita Meet her Needs

Hello friends and family! My name is Monica Faller. My husband Ted's sister Nenita Miller, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, recently lost her husband of close to 50 years. This loss left her in a challenging financial situation, as he was sick for a long time. Sadly, on October 25, 2022, Nita had a car accident. After testing was done, a mass was found on her brain. Within days, she became disoriented and confused and struggled with her motor skills. Upon further testing, it was found that Nita had an abscess growing on her brain. She was taken to ICU, and brain surgery was performed on November 1, 2022. She has been in the general and rehabilitation hospitals for several weeks. She has a pic line, so antibiotics can be administered twice daily for at least six weeks. The pressure and infection have caused Nita to have symptoms similar to a stroke patient. She will need medical care in a Skilled Nursing Facility for several more weeks. We have had to travel a good bit to help Nita. We realize that there are family and friends who would be glad to assist in the way of prayers and with expenses incurred. Therefore, we are launching this page hoping that those willing and able can have an avenue to help Nenita. The family of Nenita would like to thank you in advance for your help and support!
