Helping Natsue with Cancer Medical Cost

My name is Meg Sheffer and I have been best friends with Natsue for 20 years. I am starting this donation page because this is the time in Natsue’s life when she needs help from others most.

Natsue went for a routine checkup this spring and received results in May that she has advanced-stage malignant breast cancer.

The cancer has metastasized to lymph nodes and other areas and Natsue is working through chemotherapy and drug treatments. She will continue to fight through radiation and hormone therapies.

Natsue and her husband, Junior, have a 6-year-old son named JJ.

JJ became ill six months after his birth, and despite the doctors estimating that he had only two years to live, he is still receiving treatment and living as a happy little guy.

He always shares a smile and brings joy to his family with his spirit.

Until recently, Natsue worked day and night to support JJ by working jobs, managing government support paperwork, coordinating for nurse and home help staff support and taking care of JJ’s personal needs herself (Bathing, medications, clearing phlegm from airway).

Now, with the immense pain of cancer treatments, Natsue is unable to care for JJ and a home help support person has been required for all of JJ’s basic needs.

Natsue is determined to push through this difficult time so that she can continue to be a part of her son’s growth.

私はなつえの２０年来の親友のシェファーめぐみと申します。今彼女は最も助けを必要としているので、このドネーションページを作りました。

なつえは、今年の春に定期検診で５月にそれが進行型の悪性乳がんと診断されました。

リンパや他の箇所にも転移し化学治療 抗がん剤治療を頑張っています。 これからまた放射線治療やホルモン治療と続き闘病生活を送っています。

なつえと夫のジュニアには、JJという６歳の息子がいます。

JJは生後半年の時に病気になり余命２年と言われたにも関わらず、今も治療を受けながら頑張っています。いつもにこにこしていて家族に喜びをもたらしてくれる存在です。

なつえはJJのために、役所の手続き、家に来てくれるお医者さん、看護師さんの対応、そして彼女自身がお風呂や痰が詰まった時の対応を２４時間つきっきりでやっていました。

現在は彼女は辛い治療で、それができないのでヘルパーさんに来てもらっています。

なつえはこれからもJJの成長を見続けたいという一心で苦しい治療を本当によく頑張っています。少しでも金銭面の心配を取り除くために、ドネーション、もしくはこのページをシェアしてくださると助かります。
