We are saddened to share that my sister’s husband Nate Woodruff has been diagnosed with stage III rectal cancer.

Nate is a loving son, brother, husband, and father to three kids—Addy (13), Jacob (12), and Liam (11). This July, he and Marty will celebrate 15 years of marriage. We would love to be able to relieve some of the family’s worry at this time by helping raise money for the financial costs they are currently facing.

Nate’s treatment will begin with radiation therapy, followed by oral chemotherapy, and eventually surgery. Marty will be by his side, driving him to appointments and caring for him.

The nearest radiation treatment center he can go to is in Corvallis, Oregon, which is two hours away from where they live. They will need to either drive there 5 days a week for an undetermined amount of time, or else stay in Corvallis during those treatments. Money raised will be used to help with loss of income, travel expenses, medications not covered by insurance, and any other treatment-related necessities.
