Today, my sister lost everything in a house fire caused by an electrical problem. In a matter of moments, the home and belongings she worked so hard for were gone, leaving her facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over from nothing.

My sister is a hardworking mother who works full-time to provide for her family. She is already living paycheck to paycheck, doing everything she can to make ends meet while continuing to raise her youngest son and helping care for her daughter and grandchildren. Despite the challenges she faces, she continues to show up for her family and do the best she can.

Now, through no fault of her own, she is facing a devastating loss that she simply cannot afford to recover from on her own. Her landlord has not offered assistance, and while she is waiting to hear back from the American Red Cross about possible emergency support, there are immediate needs that cannot wait.

I am asking for help to give my sister a chance to get back on her feet. Donations will go toward the essentials she needs to begin rebuilding her life, including clothing, personal hygiene items, basic household necessities, and other unexpected expenses that come with losing a home and everything inside it.

Any amount, no matter how small, would make a difference and help ease some of the burden she is carrying right now. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean just as much.
