Recently my sister Jessica was hospitalized and fighting for her life. She’s a single mom and would never ask anyone for a dime. Anyone who knows her, knows she always tries to do it all by herself. She’s home now and recovering, but the hospital bills are flooding in. I want try to ease the load for her, so if anyone could help her financially it would be greatly appreciated. Just to fill you in on her condition. She went into the hospital July 9th with extreme abdominal pains. She was immediately admitted into the hospital because her white blood cells were so high. However, they weren’t sure where the infection was or how to control it. She was severing with septic shock and her organs were shutting down. She was anemic and losing a lot of blood. She received three blood transfusions and a lot of other liquids, medication and test. She was given a procedure in the ICU where they drain her system to control the infection. They diagnosed her with Ogilive Syndrome (very rare & typically only found in the elderly). Her lungs also never healed after covid, so she’s having difficulties breathing normally. She was on oxygen and still at risk of a ventilator. They described it as her lungs being stuck together like slime, with a lot of fluid. She also has to get surgery done to remove a fibroid that’s causing immense bleeding. She can’t have surgery until her lungs get better though. The surgery will put her out of work for 6 weeks. She also has to get another 3 day procedure and I’m sure a lot of others down the road. She is on the road to recovery and any little bit will help. God is good and we have faith she will make a full recovery. Thanks for your support!!
