Helping my Parents to Rebuild their Home

Hello everyone! My name is Salimatou (Sali) Kourouma. I am originally from Mali, West Africa and am currently in the United States as a student-athlete attending school and playing basketball for UofA women basketball . My parents lost their house due to a severe storm in 2019 (some of the damage is shown in the pictures and video). As their daughter, I want to help them as much as I can but I have limited resources and as an international student-athlete am very restricted in what money I can make with a job so I have started this GoFundMe.

My dad works selling soft drinks (like Fanta, Sprite and juice) and my mom does not have a job. Combined, they do not have enough to rebuild their house, which is unlivable and falling apart. I’m asking for your help to support their efforts to rebuild their home. If you cannot help financially then please send to your friends and share wherever you can.
