Helping My Mother-In-Law During a Medical Setback

My mother in law has just recently learned she will need to have two surgeries this summer and is in need of help! First, she is having a hysterectomy to treat endometriosis. This was only expected to put her off for two weeks. However, she found out her rotator cuff is torn in three places & requires immediate surgery or she faces a total should replacement. Her downtime for that surgery is an additional four weeks.

Salina is a medical assistant at a small OB/GYN clinic in Elizabethtown, KY. While her medical bills are covered, her place of work does not offer any form of short-term disability. After two car accidents this year, her savings haven’t had a chance to recover.
