Helping my mom with her needs to fight cancer

Hello everyone!

I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits. My name is Kimberly and I am here to ask help for my Mother. I have been in the Philippines for over 2 weeks now as my mom has been diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma Stage 4, it's a most common type of pancreatic cancer. She was diagnosed after having stent inserted for an obstruction to treat her jaundice. During the delivery of the bad news my emotions became too much and I burst into tears because when I last saw her in December 2022 she was strong and healthy. I didn't see any sign that she would have cancer we were so happy and I coudn't believe everything happpend so fast. Now, she is bed ridden, too weak to stand and walk. Her health started to decline on June 16th and I was on a plane to the Philippines on June 18th as I could not bear not to be with my mother in her time of need. I discharged my mom from the hospital and she is now at home so I could take care of her along with the help of my father and relatives. The doctors could no longer help as her condition has progressed to the point that any other course of action would probably not benefit her, chemotheraphy is out of the question. Now, our family is facing significant financial burden as I am not working I left my job in the US to be with my mom and be her caregiver. Our funds and savings have been exhausted from hospitalization,medication and doctor visits. Currently, she requires oxygen on a daily basis. I have set up this fundraiser to help us get back on our feet with any sort of costs that come our way.
