Helping my Lifelong Friend with Medical Bills

Just under two years ago my best friend’s life changed overnight. This whole time he’s kept a positive attitude and incomparable work ethic no matter what else life threw at him. Sometimes though, what we can do on our own isn’t enough. We have to be willing to ask and accept the help of those around us. That’s why I have set up this GoFundMe for him.

Here is a small insight to what he has faced just since August of 2021.

-Massive infection of his gallbladder that required 3 weeks in the hospital, surgical removal and damaged his kidneys so badly he now needs dialysis 3x/week.

-He had a stroke and seizures that caused he to be hospitalized for 4 weeks.

-Two additional surgeries, meaning two more hospitalizations, recoveries and time off work.

-A blood infection.

He has been employed the entire time, but with so many hospitalizations, illnesses, and medical appointments, he has used up all of his sick leave, PTO and savings.
