Hey everyone,
I’m writing this because my friend is going through something no one should ever have to face—especially not at 26. His mom was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in 2023. If you know anything about this type of cancer, you know it’s aggressive and tough to treat. She spent a year fighting through surgeries, chemo, and constant appointments. And through it all, my friend was by her side—every single day.
He’s her only child. Her full-time caregiver. And the only one bringing in income for their household. While most of us are figuring out our twenties, he’s been holding it all together—managing her care, working to cover bills, and doing everything he can to keep them both afloat. It’s been unbelievably hard, but he continues to keep showing up for her.
Now, things have taken a devastating turn. Her cancer is back—and it’s spread to her brain, and it means more treatments, more hospital visits, and more time off work. They’re completely overwhelmed, both emotionally and financially.
That’s why I’m starting this GoFundMe—for them. They’ve done everything they can on their own, but they need help.
Donations will go toward:
• Medical expenses and treatments
• Rent and basic living costs
• Transportation to and from appointments
• Groceries, medications, and home care needs
• Giving him the chance to take time off work without losing everything
This isn’t just about money—it’s about giving a son the ability to care for his mom during what may be the hardest fight of her life. Any amount helps, and if you can’t donate right now, just sharing this would mean so much.
Thanks for reading.
