"My name is Jonathan Tavarez and I'm the son of Juan Manuel Tavarez who is currently fighting for his life. On September 30th my father was admitted to the Policlinica de La Vega intensive care unit in the Dominican Republic and diagnosed with pneumonia. As a result of the lung infection, he suffered a heart attack due to the lack of oxygen that he was receiving. He was transferred to the intensive care unit of la Clinica Concepcion de La Vega in search of better facilities and resources and where he is currently being treated. So far, the antibiotics administered and the Fibrobronchoscopy procedure administered to clean his lungs has shown little to no results. The lab tests so far have not been able to detect the bacterial infection. In addition, my father suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes. As of yet, there has been little to no improvement on his condition. And to make matters worse his renal glands have begun to fail. He now requires Dialysis in order to have a fighting chance. All in all this means that medical bills have accumulated very quickly and we now require financial assistance to continue the fight to save my fathers life. So I ask and implore that you donate what you can to help fight the good fight and save a life.
