My father recently suffered a cardiac event that left him unresponsive for ten minutes. Thanks to the quick actions of medical staff and CPR, he was brought back and is now on the slow road to recovery. Right now, he’s still on a ventilator, but he’s starting to breathe on his own a little more each day. We’re hopeful that he’ll be okay eventually, but it’s going to be a long journey.

As he recovers, the financial burden is becoming overwhelming. Insurance only covers so much, and he’ll have a lot of debt from medical bills, rehab, and ongoing medication. On top of that, his regular living expenses are piling up. Since he’s on disability, I’ll be handling his bills directly to make sure nothing falls through the cracks and he can focus on healing.
