My family is currently displaced and staying with neighbors because the structure of the house is no longer safe. They lost not only their home, but also clothing, furniture, appliances, and almost all personal belongings. I’m fortunate enough to have insurance but my family and their neighbors aren’t as lucky so this would help them rebuild their lives.

We are grateful that everyone survived, but the emotional and financial impact has been overwhelming. Rebuilding in Jamaica is expensive, and my family simply does not have the resources to start over on their own. That’s why I’m creating this GoFundMe.
