Helping My Dad Lay To Rest
Donation protected
On April 23rd at 7pm my dad Felix Javier Puno II was called to rest. He passed from complications of heart failure caused by COVID-19. My father was a hardworking man that would always help out his friends and was a loving father. My dad only knew hard work, after retiring from playing professional soccer in Ecuador, Guatemala, and Mexico he immigrated to the US with my grandparents and studied mechanical engineering at New York Tech. After completing school he served in the US Air Force for 6 years as pilot attaining the rank of 1st Lieutenant. The last 3 years of my dad's life were spent in and out of hospitals as he was fighting heart and kidney disease along with diabetes. He fought everyday to try to get healthy with a smile on his face. He leaves behind a son and many friends that will never forget him. Unfortunately due to the tragic loss of life here in NYC I've had to wait over a month to bury my father and the costs have been more than I can afford. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank everyone that can donate to help lay my dad to rest next to my grandparents. I love you dad and I miss you. Love -Fe
