Helping my dad for cost of medical and food

Have you ever heard the word rare? That word pretty much sums up my family's medical diagnoses'. Nobody ever wants to hear that their family member/ loved one has cancer. But that has now happed to my dad. Hi! My name is Melanie Fisse. My dad has been in pain since July 2023. We have been through so many tests and so many doctors appointments since then we have just found out that he has stage 4 Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma. He has been in so much pain that he hasn't been out of his bedroom for 11 days straight; the four same walls for 11 days. I don't know about you but I would go crazy if I was in the same spot for even 3 days straight. He screams in pain and keels over and want to cry and it is not a nice sound to hear and not a nice sight to see. As of Dec. 6th he has now had a surgery to stabilize his femur that was fractured due to cancer and was the culprit for most of the pain in the leg so that it is not as painful to walk around. For many people who know my dad, Filip Fisse, He is a pretty active guy that likes to do things around the house and be "productive".

On December 14, my dad will undergo his first round of chemo. That in itself is been putting a pretty big weight on all of our shoulders. He needs to do 6 treatments as of right now and each of those treatments are 3 weeks apart. There is a tough road ahead but if anyone can beat the horrible disease it it Fil Fisse.

I am asking for help so I can help out my parents. We have no idea what the holidays are going to be like. Christmas is the time of year where families get together and laugh and smile and enjoy each others company. This year is going to be a difficult one for all of the holiday cheer.

I want to help them out because my dad is the only source of income for my parents and with no money coming in and no disability it is been pretty tough. My dad has been out of work for a month now with no time-frame of knowing when he will be back to making money. The medical bills are going to start rolling in and those are going to be pretty hefty. Anything would help and the whole Fisse family would appreciate all the help we can get.
