Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother Brady, who is currently facing $30,000 in medical bills following an unexpected hospitalization while traveling in Mexico. Unfortunately, his travel insurance claim was denied, leaving him fully responsible for the cost.

My brother lives with MODY diabetes, a rare genetic form of diabetes that runs in our family. My mom, my brother, and I all share this diagnosis. Over the years, this condition has led to several serious and frightening hospitalizations for my brother, as well as eye procedures that require ongoing care and vigilance.

Despite these challenges, he is one of the most generous, hardworking, and caring people I know. He shows up for others without hesitation, even when things are difficult for him. Asking for help does not come naturally to him so this fundraiser is my way of supporting him to help lighten a burden that feels overwhelming.
